Suspect Arrested In Local Bank Robbery
We have arrested and charged Franklin Clay Crotty, II with this bank robbery...
Crotty is 31 years old, now living in Durham, North Carolina, had at one time lived at a Ruebush Road address in Dublin. Pulaski County Sheriff's investigators served Crotty his bank robbery charge in Durham, North Carolina this week. He is being held in jail in Durham. The arrest ends a lengthy criminal investigation that has involved many interviews.
This investigation is ongoing and other arrest and charges are probable. Around 2:00 am this morning we also arrested Ricky William Truelove, age 29, of Newport with acting as an accessory to the robbery. Pulaski County Sheriff's Office investigators were assisted in the physical arrest by the Durham, NC Police Department, Craig County Sheriff's Office and the US Marshals Office in Roanoke.
