03-18-2011 Bank Robbery

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an armed robbery of the Member One Credit Union located at 7337 Peppers Ferry Blvd., Fairlawn, VA.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at 09:58 this date from the Member One
Credit Union advising they had just been robbed. Sheriff’s Office units arrived shortly after the call was dispatched and secured the scene. Information obtained from witnesses on scene provided the following details of the suspect and robbery.
SUSPECT INFORMATION:
White male, approximately 25-30 years of age, approximately 6’00” in height and 200 pounds, dressed in a blue suit, with a black hat, dark colored scarf, and mirrored aviator style sun glasses.
INCIDENT DETAILS:
Suspect entered the Member One Credit Union, pulled the scarf over his face and demanded cash from the teller. He made the threat that he had a weapon. Once the suspect received the undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the scene on foot. Suspect may have been seen getting out of a white or cream colored small 4 door newer model car with two to three people in the vehicle prior to the robbery.
Sheriff’s Deputies, Investigators and K-9 tracking dog remain on scene and around the area investigating the incident.
